Hi, I'm Annie! I am a behavioral ecologist studying the drivers of different patterns of structure and organization in animal social systems. I use long-term social observations, network analysis, and natural disturbances to study how factors like habitat loss, human activities, and population dynamics influence animal social dynamics across scales and species. Using this comparative approach, I investigate the factors that lead to resilient societies and ask how societies evolve under different social and environmental conditions.
