I am a behavioral ecologist and studying disturbances in animal social systems.
In a changing world, animal populations are increasingly exposed to fragmented landscapes, rapidly shrinking habitat, and displaced resources. How can social connections influence how animals cope with changing conditions? I use long-term social observations and network analysis to study how changing landcover and altered population dynamics influence animal social dynamics across scales and across species. |
